The Interviews
We interview women and men in depth about their sexual selves from childhood through adulthood to find out what real people do, feel, want, need, fear, and love in sex.
The People
We're interviewing women and men from 18-99, mostly raised in the US, from all walks of life. We're telling stories of the kinds of people you already know, and some you don't. Because that's how we learn about ourselves and the world.
Why?
Because our sexuality is a core aspect of our humanity. When our culture represses and shames us for our basic human need for sexual connection, we are forced to reject a core part of ourselves. We can't accept who we are, what we feel. We are depressed, angry and sad, and we often don't even know why. We express our pain in ways that harm us and distort our relationships with others.
Through these people's stories, we hope you come to see the depth, diversity, and beauty of our sexuality when we feel free, as well as the pain that we and those who love us experience when we don't.
